Responsibilities:
I have experience of over 20 years in developing designs for cabinetry and millwork and managing all engineering processes. I am proficient in using software such as AutoCAD, Microvellum, Ardis, and Cut Ride, and I have some knowledge of Alfa CAM. I work closely with project managers, architects, and clients to create final designs, convert hand sketches into finished drawings, and validate measurements relative to the layout. I also lay out shop drawings and convert AutoCAD drawings into CNC programs. Additionally, I assist in setting up and implementing newly purchased manufacturing software (Microvellum). I also train personnel on using the software from drafting to manufacturing and installation. I have collaborated closely with the purchasing department to facilitate the procurement of all the necessary components for work orders. My objective was to ensure that we purchased only what was required and that it arrived on time to meet the schedule. Additionally, I worked with the shop to streamline the flow of work and optimized the shop processes to improve the overall efficiency of the shop.
