Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control:
o Inspecting finished products for accuracy and quality.
o Ensuring that woodworking techniques meet AWI standards and architects specifications.
o Help support shipping by crating wrapping and load finish product
Inventory and Materials Management:
o (Inventory control) Help managing raw materials such as lumber, sheet goods and hardware.
o Order supplies as needed and ensure that stock materials are kept at acceptable levels.
o Backup and support for the material handler and receiving clerk when they arent available
Safety Management:
o Follow and enforce safety protocols on the shop floor including the use of protective equipment.
o Oversee safety program, schedule monthly safety meetings with the safety committee promoting a culture of safety.
o Performing risk assessments and ensuring tools and machinery are properly maintained.
Machine Maintenance:
o Ensuring that equipment and machinery are in good working order.
o Arranging for repairs or replacements of broken tools and or machine parts.

Documentation:
o Keeping accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each project and track labor hours
o Collect data from the electronic timeclock, reviewing, make corrections and submit to payroll.
o Pack list changes
o Time studies and job tracking
Essential Skills:
Leadership: Ability to manage and motivate a team.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of woodworking techniques, blueprint reading, various tools, and materials a plus
Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and adaptability when dealing with unexpected issues.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring that all aspects of the project, from design to execution, are precise and of high quality. (QS)
