Glenn Rieder, a nationally recognized leader in high-end architectural millwork, is seeking a Senior Estimator for our Shamrock Metals subsidiary in Las Vegas, NV. Shamrock Metals specializes in architectural metal fabrication, delivering high-quality metal products and solutions for a variety of industries. This onsite position is ideal for a skilled estimator with a background in architectural metal, looking to contribute their expertise to our growing team.
The Lead Estimator is responsible for managing the Estimators to develop timely and accurate project cost estimates for projects. The job of the Lead Estimator is to provide estimating services for customers, Sales staff, and project management to secure work for the company. This includes timely and continuous communication with the Sales, Manufacturing, and Operations teams. The Lead Estimator will routinely work with executive management providing updates and ongoing analysis of estimating activities. The Lead Estimator will ensure the Estimators are accurately pricing project drawings, specifications, and job-specific requirements to develop an accurate estimate of the project costs. They will also serve in a leadership position for our company with our customers during the preconstruction process. The Lead Estimator will utilize a variety of computer software applications to develop the bid and subsequent proposal.
