Job Title: Millwork Estimator
Location: Unique Building Supplies, Brunswick GA

Reports To: Sales / Estimating
Job Summary:
The Millwork Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for millwork projects, including custom cabinetry, trim, molding, and other woodworking elements. This role involves analyzing project plans, specifications, and client requirements to provide competitive bids while ensuring profitability and feasibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the scope of millwork projects.
• Calculate material quantities, labor costs, and equipment needs for millwork production and installation.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, proposals, and bid documents for submission to clients or project teams.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of material costs.
• Assist in project handoff to production teams/ drafting work orders / ensuring all estimate details are clearly communicated.
Qualifications:
• Experience in millwork estimating, carpentry, or a related field (e.g., construction estimating).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural plans and technical drawings.
• General knowledge of millwork materials and fabrication techniques.
• Experience with and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with CAD software or 3D modeling tools for millwork design.
