Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Millwork Estimator proficient in Innergy software to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in millwork estimating, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to analyze project specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates. This role involves collaborating with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure precise takeoffs and competitive bids.
Salary Range: $60-90k based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
• Review architectural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to develop detailed millwork estimates.
• Utilize Innergy software to generate accurate material takeoffs, labor costs, and pricing breakdowns.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain up-to-date material pricing.
• Prepare and submit bid proposals, ensuring competitive and profitable estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to refine estimates and optimize costs.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value-engineering solutions.
• Maintain and update estimating databases, price lists, and historical cost records.
• Assist in post-bid negotiations and change order pricing as required.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in commercial millwork estimating.
• Proficiency in Innergy software (or ability to quickly learn it).
• Strong understanding of millwork materials, fabrication processes, and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting (if applicable).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in cabinetry, casework, or woodworking industry.
• Knowledge of other estimating software or ERP systems.
• Previous experience working in a remote environment.
