Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Wood Finisher to join our team. As a Lead Finisher, you will be responsible for applying stain finishes to wood products according to specifications. Your attention to detail and craftsmanship will be crucial in producing high-quality finished wood pieces.
Duties:
- Apply stains, varnishes, and other finishes to wood surfaces
- Sand and prepare wood surfaces for finishing
- Inspect finished products for quality standards
- Repair any imperfections in the finish
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion
Experience:
- Must have prior experience in wood finishing
- Knowledge of water stains and wood grains
- Must have experience with spray guns
- Experience with heavy lifting
- General maintenance tasks
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques
