Painter/ Paint prep for Cabinets/ Millwork
Custom Millwork & Design Group Inc. (CMD) primarily manufactures custom millwork for medium and large new and renovation projects within the hospitality and assisted living industries across the world. CMD provides superior quality using state-of-the-art computerized machinery, knowledgeable staff and attention to detail. We strive to achieve industry leading standards in all our processes from design, manufacture and install.
CMD is a medium size company that offers a friendly and caring work environment. Our goal is to produce innovative, high-quality millwork in any capacity and deliver exceptional customer service from design through installation.
The qualified finisher needs to be familiar with prepping & painting/spraying of high-end cabinetry/ millwork 10 years of experience or more preferred.
Location: Bantam, CT 06750 (required)
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas
Knowledge of spraying post catalyzed and pre-catalyzed finishes wood is required for the advanced positions; this is not a requirement for entry level positions.
Prep and sand surfaces prior to finishing
Work and communicating with a team or independently as needed
Work time constraints to meet specific timelines
Adhere to all health and safety standards
Provide the highest level of quality standards while maintaining a professional attitude with the utmost respect for customers property.
Ensure work is completed as requested by CMD supervisor and that the work meets their standards
Requirements and Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license
Self-motivated and driven
Individual must always be able to maintain a clean spray room and shop area
Ability to recognize & fix defects mid production and perform tasks repeatedly at the same high standard
Excellent work ethic and dependability
Good physical condition, stamina, and dexterity
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
