Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join our Millwork 360 team. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of door manufacturing.

The position includes job overview, order entry into engineering software, batched work order creation, generating parts lists and bill of material requirements. Shop floor documents will need to be prepared and distributed to several work centers. CNC or CSV files will be output electronically to various production equipment. This role requires precision, problem-solving, and effective teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Doorline and VMS sales order review and entry into Microvellum
• Generate and output Stile & Rail cut list to OMGA Elite 120
• Generate door sticking cut lists an output to OMGA T521 straight & V235 miter saws
• Louver parts cut list for OMGA T521 straight saw
• Jamb & stop cut lists for Pre-hang area
• Produce master cut parts list from Microvellum
• Send job csv files to Barbaric stacking and loading system
• Print barcode labels for beveling and sizing the doors
• Optimize sheet good materials, stile & rail components and sticking in Ardis
• Produce stile & rail batch parts lists for molders
• Create required glass batch list for ordering purposes
• Beam saw scheduling
• Prepare and print shipping labels
• Monitor / Maintain sheet stock, edge inserts and stiles inventory

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Ability to interpret shop drawings and recognizing project requirements
• Understanding of various door types and their functionality
• Knowledge regarding door materials and associated hardware
• Familiar with door production processes and machinery automation
• Hands-on experience in door fabrication
• Detail oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to apply mathematical skills to calculate part sizes to assure proper fit
