Description
Our company is seeking individuals with a flexible background in architectural millwork project management. Position responsibilities include:
• Analyze job requirements, define scope, determine resource requirements, and establish production schedules and deadlines
• Provide detailed project schedules with critical milestones
• Communicate directly with contractors, architects, vendors and subcontractors in a professional manner as a representative of the company
• Take and/or coordinate field measurements, if necessary
• Work with our engineering team to prepare detailed and comprehensive shop drawings using 2D AutoCAD software
• Review job requirements, manage changes in drawings and additions in order to create a clearly defined path of construction for shop
• Purchase specialty material such as glass, veneer, and solid surfaces
• Request and coordinate samples for submittals in conjunction with engineering
• Attend subcontractor meetings as required and document necessary information
• Monitor and ensure production and control quality from fabrication through delivery
• Handle onsite coordination with contractors and subcontractors
• Formulate Requests for Information (RFI) and negotiate change orders
• Monitor and communicate project budgets
• Maintain material delivery status
• Review and approve billing requests
• Ensure adherence to contract specifications
• Coordinate timelines and follow up to ensure goals are met or exceeded
• Communicate in a professional manner with all Company management/employees
• Maintain a clean, neat, professional appearance at all times as a representative of Company

• Problem solving abilities and the ability to be self-sufficient
• Keen eye for detail
• Ability to drive projects on time, on budget, and with the standard of quality required by Company
• Proficient and comfortable with technology
• Complete ease reading and understanding architectural drawings
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively


Required Background
• 5+ years of experience in commercial architectural millwork in project management. Focus on high-end, highly detailed work very important.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Windows applications including Excel, Word, etc.
