We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to oversee high-end commercial architectural woodworking projects from inception to completion.
Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful execution of complex millwork projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of millwork processes, materials, project management principles, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-end commercial architectural woodworking projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and resource allocations to deliver successful outcomes.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their vision and expectations are met.
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring collaboration and accountability.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing high-end architectural woodworking projects.
- Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Familiarity with the New York City millwork industry is strongly preferred.
