Estimating Manager/ Lead Estimator/ Chief Estimator
Southeast US- Highly desirable, outstanding south east location!!!
Salary: $120K-$140K+

Must come from Architectural Millwork/ Architectural Woodwork industry.
Commercial cabinetry, casework, fixtures, displays, etc., and be capable with estimating software programs such as Innergy, Blue Beam, etc.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead our estimating team and oversee the preparation of cost estimates for construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and estimating, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. This role is crucial in ensuring that our projects are competitively priced while maintaining profitability and quality standards.
Duties
Manage the estimating team, providing guidance and support throughout the estimating process.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
Utilize software tools such as Innergy, Excel, and Bluebeam to enhance estimating efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment on project scope and budget.
Analyze project specifications, drawings, and contracts to develop comprehensive estimates.
Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
Implement cost control measures to monitor project budgets and reduce expenses.
Review and refine estimating processes to improve accuracy and efficiency within the team.
Experience
Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field, with a focus on commercial projects.
Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
Proficiency in using estimating software such as Innergy, Excel, and/or Bluebeam.
Experience in contract negotiation and price analysis.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, ensuring all estimates are accurate and comprehensive.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
