Overview:
Southern Pride Custom Cabinets is a rapidly growing high-end commercial architectural millwork company located in Madison, AL. We are seeking a high-energy decisive team leader for an open Project Manager position that can manage multiple projects simultaneously, with focus on creating value for the client & Company, while negotiating the inherent positive & negative challenges in high end custom projects, from beginning to end. Must be able to estimate to create Change Order Requests (COR) on the fly and know the Commercial Architectural Millwork industry.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan, budget, manage, and document all aspects of assigned project(s)
Drive performance, reduce variation, decrease waste, increase speed, and champion the principles of continuous improvement
Work with the leadership team providing updates and ongoing analysis of each project
Serve as the primary liaison for Company with our clients and subcontractors for assigned project(s)
Requirements:
5-10 years experience in commercial millwork
5+ years Project management OSHA 30 is a plus
Excellent time management and critical thinking skills a must
Leadership skill set a must
Able to read architectural drawings and blueprints
Creative and theming project experience is a plus
Knowledge of advanced computer skills, PC based. Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Bluebeam
Knowledge of cabinet-making techniques, tools, equipment, and materials common to the carpentry trade
Skill in estimating time and material requirements of work projects assigned
Skill in supervising the work of others
Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week, weekends and holidays as required by business needs
Full time position
Pay is commensurate with experience
Hours vary based on season/demand - typically Monday to Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm
