Millwork Production Supervisor (2nd shift)
Upper Midwest (High Preference to Upper Midwest candidates)
Salary: 80-95K, benefits, PTO, etc.
Primary Responsibilities
• Assist Plant Manager in the management and oversight of manufacturing shop floor.
• Determine the most effective use of machines, people, information and energy on the shop floor.
• Develop a more objective manufacturing scheduling system for the shop floor to improve the flow of work in process.
• Work with employees in all shop floor departments to enhance their skills in all areas so that millwork can be fabricated at a consistently high level of quality and in a timely manner.
Additional Expectations
• Attend daily shop floor production meetings and report on the progress of work orders.
• Work with Plant Manager to ensure that all scheduled shipments are on time.
• Assign employees to specific work orders.
• Assist Plant Manager with annual employment evaluations of shop floor employees.
• Oversee the Quality Control program and make sure that QC procedures are being followed in department.
• Assist in developing and implementing continuing education program.
• Complete employee grading system and implement in review process.
