Senior Project Manager – Custom Millwork
Wine Trend, Inc. | Full-Time
Salary: $85,000–$125,000/year, based on experience
Location: Richmond, VA
Industry: High-end custom millwork & specialty displays

Who We Are
Wine Trend, Inc. designs, fabricates, and installs high-end custom millwork and display systems, primarily for wine retail, hospitality, and specialty interiors. We handle projects from concept through installation with in-house teams and a strong focus on quality and execution.
The Position
We’re looking for a senior-level Project Manager with real millwork experience to run projects from award through installation and close-out.
This role is for someone who understands how millwork is actually built — materials, finishes, shop flow, lead times, and installation — and can manage scope, schedule, and budget without constant oversight.

You’ll work directly with in-house drafting, fabrication, finishing, and installation teams, as well as clients, architects, and GCs.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Managing custom millwork and display projects from award to final install
Acting as the main point of contact for clients, architects, designers, and GCs
Reviewing architectural drawings, shop drawings, specs, and contracts
Coordinating drafting, fabrication, finishing, logistics, and installation
Managing schedules, budgets, material procurement, and lead times
Tracking fabrication progress and shipping
Handling RFIs, change orders, and documentation
Leading internal project meetings and external coordination meetings
Overseeing punch lists and project close-out
What We’re Looking For
College graduate or trade school either in engineering or related field.
5–10+ years PM experience in architectural millwork, custom cabinetry, or interior fabrication
Must be willing to travel 30% of the time
Strong knowledge of millwork materials, fabrication methods, finishes, and installation
Ability to read and manage directly from architectural and shop drawings
Experience running multiple projects at once
Organized, clear communicator, and problem-solver
Comfortable with Excel and basic project tracking tools
Nice to Have
Retail, hospitality, or custom display experience
AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar
Direct shop-floor experience
OSHA 10 or 30
Why This Role
$85,000–$125,000 salary, based on experience
PTO time
Health insurance premium allowance.
Retirement plan
Full-time, stable workload
In-house shop and installation teams
High-quality, custom work — not production casework
Straightforward management structure and clear expectations
