Company is a leader in custom cabinetry, is seeking a Cabinet Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in
designing and engineering cabinetry that meets customer specifications while ensuring efficient manufacturing and on time project completion.
Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed cabinet designs, shop drawings, cut lists, and CNC-ready files based on project requirements and
• architectural plans.
• Create and maintain CAD/CAM files and bills of material (BOMs) for production.
• Review and interpret customer orders, blueprints, and specifications for accuracy and feasibility.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and installation teams to clarify technical details and ensure alignment with
• customer expectations.
• Optimize designs for efficient manufacturing, minimal waste, and production accuracy.
• Troubleshoot design or manufacturing issues and recommend solutions.
Qualifications:
• Engineering, Drafting, Industrial Design, or related field experience.
• Proven, hands-on experience in cabinetry, woodworking, millwork, or related manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, Microvellum, Insight, or 2020 Design a plus).
• Strong understanding of woodworking materials, cabinet construction techniques, and kitchen layouts.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills.
