Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cabinetry and Millwork Project Manager to oversee custom cabinetry and architectural millwork projects from award through installation. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, production coordination, and on-site execution to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
-Oversee submittals, approvals, and change orders
-Manage punch lists and project closeout documentation
-Resolve field issues, discrepancies, and conflicts proactively
-Coordinate procurement of materials, hardware, and finishes
-Conduct job site visits to monitor installation progress and quality
-Track project costs and profitability; report on project status regularly
-Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and material takeoffs
-Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company procedures
-Coordinate with designers, architects, general contractors, and internal production teams
-Manage all phases of cabinetry and millwork projects, from contract award to final closeout
-Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, & contracts for scope and accuracy
Requirements
-3 to 7+ years of experience in custom cabinetry and architectural millwork project management (custom or commercial preferred)
-Experience with AutoCAD, Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, or similar software preferred
-Bachelor’s degree in construction management is preferred but not required.
-Familiarity with LEED, FSC or other sustainable building practices
-Experience with Textura Payment Management system preferred
-Knowledge of commercial construction processes and timelines
-Experience in AIA Billing & with Procore preferred
