Description
Specializes in the precise on-site fitting, assembly, and installation of kitchen, bathroom, and commercial cabinets. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, measuring spaces, anchoring cabinets securely, applying trim, and adjusting doors for a functional, high-quality finish. This role requires expertise with power tools, carpentry, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
• Installation & Fitting: Position, align, and secure cabinets, cupboards, and fixtures in residential or commercial spaces according to blueprints.
• Site Preparation & Customization: Measure spaces, cut fillers/moldings, and modify cabinets on-site for a perfect fit.
• Finishing Tasks: Install hardware (handles, hinges), apply sealants, and perform touch-ups to ensure a high-quality, finished product.
• Cleanup & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe job site, and follow all safety protocols when operating tools.
• Customer Communication: Interact professionally with clients, contractors, and designers to ensure project satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
• Experience: Proven experience in cabinet installation, carpentry, or a related construction field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand tools and power tools (e.g., saws, drills, routers).
• Read Blueprints: Ability to read and interpret design plans, blueprints, and layouts.
• Math & Measurement: Strong, precise mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding work.
