Description
High-end production cabinet shop seeking to grow our office design team with a Microvellum engineer/Bricscad/Autocad draftsperson.
Responsibilities will include working collaboratively with our office team (project and production managers) to generate cabinet shop drawings for architectural review as well as construction drawings for fabricators.
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with the following:
Reading and interpreting architectural drawings and critically reviewing drawings for clarity and accuracy.
Experience CAD drafting in a woodworking shop environment (cabinetry, millwork or other related woodworking)
Familiarity with woodworking techniques, materials and standards
Proficiency drafting with Autocad (we use Bricscad which is almost identical) at a minimum, but preferred experience with Microvellum for integration with CNC manufacturing is ideal.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
This is an onsite position at our shop in Shelburne Falls, MA.
