Exact reproduction of spindles such as table and chair legs, balusters, newels, baseball bats, etc., either from a 3D specimen or a template mounted in back of machine. Equipped with hydraulically controlled tracer unit, advances, return, carriage and tailstock; has automatic stop/start and a steady rest for longer, thinner spindles, with backside roughing knife.
Improvements by me: new lighted operator control panel, new bearing at tailstock, new hydraulic speed controls, a dust collection port extension when steady rest not in use, and 3 very new canoe knives (one single and one double-ended HSS, and one carbide; total value of knives alone over $1,000).
I purchased this machine from a down-sizing factory that had taken it out of service in 2007, and upgraded the wiring and other items as stated above. I am acquiring a more advanced machine and need the floor space.
The machine is located in Charles Town, WV, with loading capability onsite.
