1.6HP. 110V. Upgrades include a tool rest outboard for turning large bowls. It is equipped with a variable speed DC motor with many speeds using the pulley belt system for gross adjustments. DC motor generates high torque so it is great for turning bowls. I have many tools for bowl turning, but also for regular spindle turning. It is a great lathe with many unique features, different tool rests and many other accessories. The metal box under the middle is filled with sand for give extra steadiness.
