Description
2019 SCM Group Startech CN
230v, 3-phase
Description:
The new high-performance numeric controlled (NC) Drilling Machine engineered for full production woodworking shops and craftsmen alike. With seven (7) independent vertical spindles, the spindle and the blade in “X” axis and the possibility to drill in the “Y” axis, make the Startech CN drilling head both flexible and ideal for batch furniture productions. This machine allows the operator unparalleled flexibility for tailored products without the need of operator intervention for the worktable and machine set-up according to the panel dimensions.
Features
• “Easy Motion” work table: Engineered for easy loading and sliding of your panels due to the front and rear support rollers. Additionally, the right and left guides and the central side-alignment device help facilitate extremely accurate machining utilizing the two-stop arrangement similar to that used in SCM Group’s high-end CNC’s. With a phenolic resin working table consisting of an MDF sector to carry out through drillings. It can be auto-excluded for the horizontal drillings. The panel is positioned along the “X” axis and locked by means of a suction cup.
• 7” Touchscreen color numeric control interface: This easy to use and intuitive graphic interface provides the operator with the ease of a touch-screen display and a self-diagnostic and signaling system that alerts the operator of potential errors or damages that could occur. With head tooling and machining cycle programming without having to use a mouse or keyboard while offering automatic optimization...this is the small footprint boring machine of the future!
• Seven (7) independent vertical boring spindles: The seven independent vertical spindles, the spindle and blade in the “X” axis and the possibility to drill in the “Y” axis helps make the drilling head flexible and is ideal for batch furniture productions. With this drilling head positioned above the panel, it allows the operator unparalleled precision machining which can be verified in the panel assembly phase. A great feature is that the Startech CN uses the outside of the panel as a reference, thus any differences in the thickness ore on the inside of the cabinet! Lastly, the position of the drilling head allows for ease of cleaning and overall reduced maintenance.
• Unmatched versatility: Finished components can be produced without having to adjust the bits and eliminates the need for operator intervention for the worktable and machine set-up based on the panel dimensions.
