The significantly reduced boiling point of water in a Vacuum makes Vacuum drying particularly suitable for drying hardwood and timber. Thereby, the drying period is shortened and energy consumption is reduced.
Approx. 4,000 Board ft. Capacity; Average Stickered Lumber Charge size 16.5ft L x 60in W x 65in T. For the Micro, Standard plus models, the sticker thickness used is 0.75 (3/4") inches. ≈≈ Drying Time: Approximately (1) week per inch of thickness. For best performance, the ambient temperature should be 60-80F.
Water requirement: 1/2” connection, min 3/4 gpm, min 50 PSI.
