Description
Sandya Uno model from the late 90s. The machine and motor were made in Italy, and it’s a beast. We barely had to adjust anything to get it operating perfectly parallel. Here are some details:
- Two belts, each with their own dust port
- Material thickness sensor, works flawlessly and is fine tuned
- Two feed speeds
- 3 phase, 20 HP motor
- Belt tension and oscillation are pneumatically controlled, large volume compressor recommended
This machine does have some quirks, appropriate for its age:
- First belt works but needs some work on the oscillation mechanism. Second belt works splendidly
- Emergency shut off bar at infeed works, the others do not
- tension/pressure gauge is on the fritz and has been since we bought it, hasn’t caused any problems (we regularly run full width pieces through and have had no issue overburdening the motor)
No belts, ducting, or phase converter included. Feel free to message me with any questions, or to come have a look. I'm happy to send anymore photos or a video of it running/sanding. We’ll keep it hooked up and running until it sells, so you can see it in action. Located in Dolores CO.
