Description
42” Tannewitz Model “RH” pro-level bandsaw for sale. Big, rugged, clean, well cared for American Made classic. It was completely rebuilt and tuned by a former Tannewitz company machinist years ago and has been meticulously cared for since. Around 19.5 cut height and 41.5 throat capacity. Table tilts L= 5 deg, R = 45 deg. S/N 14865
This is one of the largest capacity saws that still fit into typical woodshops (industrial, trade school, timber-frame or ship building etc). It has operated in a pattern makers shop and shows very good care taken. Rubber tires are nearly new, pro-level guide bearings run good. Saw runs smooth.
Note: It currently sits on riser blocks which raise the table height slightly above intended since this model (42” is extra-large) was designed to normally sit partly (around 4") sunken below floor level. Often people operate it without issue using riser blocks if floor is already poured flat. Tannewitz floor pouring plan is still available online or in literature if you are building your dream shop.
We are not doing as much big milled slab work these days and pricing it to sell. I can show it running under power and it comes with manual but no cord, and one fine tooth band. I can help load onto a flatbed though you might want to consider a step-deck trailer due to height (+/- 9'4").
Cash or cleared wire transfer only to release. I can hold it only with a deposit.
