Application: Designed for heavy dust loads, primarily for large woodworking machinery, such as planers, jointers, wide belt sanders, and saws in an industrial setting.
Cleaning Method: Features an automatic pulse clean or shaker system to maintain efficiency and constant capture velocity.
Operation
The system operates by pulling dust-laden air into the main body of the collector. The air passes through the numerous fabric bags, which capture the fine dust particles. The clean air is then exhausted (often back into the workspace to save on HVAC costs). Accumulated dust falls into a large collection hopper or disposal bags at the bottom, which require periodic emptying.
I have two of these systems. They were connected to different pieces of equipment but I rarely ran them both at the same time. I bought them new and used them for about two years. I’ll part with one but I’ll keep the other as long as I have a wood shop. -- Update, we sold one and now I have to sell the other. I do not have the 3 phase power to run it. I hate to part with both of these machines.
We had these units in a separate room. There is more of the dust on the units from emptying the hopper bags rather than running. All hopper and filtration bags are in great shape.
