This SCM Sandya S600 RCS135 (2) Head 53″ Wide Belt Sander is very well optioned and includes a vacuum bed, segmented platen, and variable speed on the heads. It has a 53″ wide X 6″ capacity. The first head is a 5.5″ dia. helical steel calibrating drum. While the second head is a Combination Head with a (6.25″) 45 durometer, grooved rubber drum with 2″ Segmented platen and includes two platens with 2 different felt densities. Both heads are powered by a 24/29 hp motor. Hp varies depending on if you are operating it at low or high speed. The feed has 2 speeds and is powered by a .73/1.3 hp motor depending on speed. The feed-bed does have the optional 4 hp vacuum hold down and has a NEW $4,500 feed-mat installed. Automatic Thickness Setup Device, digital metric height read out, and motorized bed elevation. Very very clean machine with (30) NEW abrasive belts. (8-80, 4-120, 4-150, 10-180, and 4-220 grit) Machine is 460V/3-Phase and comes with a 230V to 460V multi tap transformer. 25″ infeed and 23″ outfeed extension rollers give it a pass through length of 104″. So you have a lot of support for longer material. Again super clean machine!
