This is just something I've wanted to try for a while now. It turned out being about a three hour escape from everything one Sunday afternoon.

But now it has brought on a whole new string of idea's.

Ok I give. Its not done on a leagacy. This was done on a Jet Mini lathe using a Beall Masterpiece Turner with a Foredom. Beall didn't make the Masterpiece Turner for very long, its seems the didn't sell. Its a slow time consuming process to do this. You have to make them to tight to go together at first. Let'm set a day or two. then they will slide together nicely. I'm in the process of trying it on the legacy now in a larger scale. Still working out the bugs there, its proving to be a little more difficult on the Leagacy. The one pictured is 1 1/4" dia. 5" long and like i said it took a full three hours to off. But it was the first try so could probably been done faster than that.
Thanks for all your comments, I'd rather be covered in saw dust.
