i built this two years ago. the door was counter-balasted with steel plates mounted on a carriage which runs in the box to the left of the dressers. the 1 1/2 " thick door (heavy) moves easily w/ finger pressure. i ran out of fir ply with 2 interior shelves yet to make... $120 a sheet...hmmm... amazing what shop birch and a can of red krylon will do in a pinch ! comments?
