One of my Kitchens. Nothing too massively creative-just a big difference between the old and new.

Real nice job... I especially like the vent hood. Those are some high ceilings... Or were those shingles previously exposed to the elements? ;) How long have those eggs been sitting out? ;) Again, nice job!

I could almost like the old kitchen without the great white box fride and same for the new. You've done a nice job however, it's just a pity more designs don't put the fridge behind wood doors so they don't spoil the general timber ambiance... A bit difficult with the huge ice cube maker types. Some kitchen makers here in New Zealand are covering them up which looks great with the minimlist designs and would improve the timber ones too. Just a thought.

It's funny that the someone already made a comment about liking the first kitchen. I did too, I thought it was incredibly creative. With the exception of the vent hood the new kitchen looks straight out of the (big) box. Actually, the vent hood looks like it was made from stock components, no?

Original kitchen had some character. Would have updated countertops & backsplash, replaced shingles with crown, toned or glazed doors and said no to the (big) box.

I like the renovation. The old one was too dark and heavy looking. I am not sure that wooden shingles belong inside the kitchen. I bet the kitchen feels a lot more open now. Was there a designer or was this your idea?
