Manuel, after the usual preparation like sealer coat sanded with 220 grit we sprayed the base coat( blue). All paints are latex acrylic. The next day we spot spray through a household cleaner bottle a crackling glaze ( Lowes American Tradition.) The key here is to spray only where you want the crackling. This stuff can go pretty wild on you. After the glaze is dry to the touch spray on the top coat and let it dry to the next day. We had very goad success with a latex spray gun. Now with 300 or higher grid sand paper sand in selected spots through the top coat. Be very careful here, it will not take much and you are down to the primer. The kitchen cabinet I posted earlier was finished the same way.
Happy woodworking
