This is a display case I built to hold one of Elvis's belts for the owner of an Elvis museum. It features suede over soft foam interior, brass combo locks, and leather handle. The box frame is 3/4" thick and the tops/bottoms are 1/4" frame and panel type construction. Walnut with tung oil finish.
This is what inspired me to start a woodworking business.

Very nice work. I notice that you cut the front piece out of a single board. I assume you grain-matched similarly all the way around the box. Others have often suggested professional photography, this piece (and its contents) would really benefit. I am intrigued by the slats across the top. Are they part of the frame making the top four panels?
Thank you Greg. Grain is matched all around, top and bottom. The slats on top are mortised into the same groove that holds the flat panels and are part of the structure. First 2 pics are customers. And yes, I should look into pro photography for future things. Thanks again.
How much would a case like this cost? I need something like this.
Nick M, this case was around 350 several years ago. I could do the same price if you were interested.
