Amazing work! Looks like a very high end, high dollar project. What kind of paint did you use? Thanks, Sebastien
I agree with Sebastien, the kitchen looks great....and I really love the miller lite on the island, great touch, but I prefer coors light myself.
Very nice, I really like your work. Where did you find inspiration for island, it's very unique.
First, I want to thank you guys for your comments. To answer a few questions 1)We use M.L. Campbell Products 2) I apoligize for the beer bottle in the picture 3) We wanted to make a statement with the island and analyzed many before deciding on this design.
Dan, would you happen to be using the water-borne line offered be ML Campbell? I've been using the Benjamin Moore WB Enduro with really nice results. What would you say the primary difference is between ML Campbell vs. other enamel paints?
I hate to be a downer, but is your surround at least 6" away from that industrial size range? It appears to me that IF anyone ever cooks on that thing, your beautiful finish won't last very long.

Tom,
I was just thinking the same thing. I had to take out a vent hood similar to that one a month or so ago because it would not pass code inspection. The cabinet man got mad and would not come back so I was called in to finish the job. In our area, we need 12" side clearance to combustibles at a minimum. The overall kitchen looks GREAT, but the stove area could be a point of concern in the near future when those large burners get fired up.

Whenever we do hoods with countertop legs we make sure the customer is covering it with tile on the inside. That will usually pacify the building inspector.
