i like the design except for the round plugs try ponding a square peg 3/8 by 3/8 in a3/8 round hole it works well and looks great it will match the drawer front

Thanks - as for the round vs. square pegs, for all my designs that is a choice but so far (3 pairs of nightstands) the customers have selected round. When doing round, I make them flush and when doing square, I leave them proud.

I really like the bookmatching and grain flow on this. I can't really tell from the picture, but do the ends of the box joints sit proud of the drawer face. They seem to from the picture, which I think is really cool.

Thanks Shawn - yes I do leave the finger joints proud and then round them over just a bit to get rid of any sharp edges.

I LOVE your pacific nightstand. Any chance you sell the plans for that? I'd love to try it as a project.
