Company Name: Thomas Hirsz Woodwork1/4 cut white oak veneered credenza stained to match floors. Diamond pattern touch latch doors. Heating vent has been rerouted to slots in the base. Walls were not square and are being straightened. Matching desk is awaiting drawers.

The finish consisted of one coat custom blended fast dry wiping stain, let dry 20 min., a light coat of amber shellac to warm up the colour a bit - sprayed of course and allowed to dry 20 min. then sanded, and lastly 2 coats of Fuhr 255 low sheen wb. urethane. Takes 2 hours from start to finish per part and I can install.

Forgot to mention - the stain is solvent based,not wb. Goudy's Stains here in Toronto is all I use. This stuff reeks, might be naptha in it, I'm not sure. I think any fast dry would do the same.
