WINE CELLAR

Listing #1719 Listed on: 01/15/2009 Company Name: TREVID ARCHITECTURAL MILLWORK
Name: DAVID DIVER Member

Quarter sawn oak wine cellar. Four walls with corners cut by blank panels. All the pigeon holes are housed in place and the entire unit is housed into the carcass. No nails or screws are visable other that under the base cap molding. Nice project to have been awarded. I was nervous to take it on but we did it. A company is only as good as the employees. Beautiful work. Couple of questions
What are the 3"x6" plates over each bay? And if you will allow a stupid question, did the owner tell you why he wanted open shelf, individual bin and X-bin storage? It is not obvious to me why a variety is desired.

I guess, plates are electric boxes for lighting, and x spaces are for 1.5 liter botles they are fatter then regular, and open is less expensive, just my opinion

The electrical boxes are for lights, the open storage is for cases of wine, the x storage is for easy access to these cases for the catering staff and the individuals are for the home owners own select wines.
