Here are a few sample photos of a set of three mahogany and maple chess boards I made a few years ago. Green velvet lined drawers are included for storing the glass pieces. For finishing I hand sanded up to 320, then used several coats of tung oil and finally paste wax. Originally I intended to keep one and sell the other two, but I never got around to the latter. I'm also not sure what to charge and how to find the right market.
