Wow, I'm surprised this one isn't on my list too. Don't worry guys I'm not trying to bog you down with projects. I'm just looking through the ones I thought I posted and am realizing I haven't done it. These are all projects I really wanted to share but apparently never did. So here they are. Besides I have to get your minds off of reupholstery. The cabinet is maple ply. The pyramids are mdf buiscuited and glued together. I can't remember what size the squares are. This is painted by others. This cabinet is used as an AV cabinet.

KOL,
There was a vanity very similar to this in a house I trimmed. The vanity was made by the cabinet sub, not us. The front of the vanity and doors were a radius, but other than that it was identical. Anyway, I've often thought about how I would make this.

Is each pyramid one piece or four pieces?

If they are one piece, how did you cut them?

I've done pyramid caps for newel posts before by ripping the bevel 'on edge" with a table saw. This would get pretty hairy with pyramids this small... and so many.

Did you make some kind of a jig similar to a Tenon Jig?

This is SO close in proportion to the vanity I saw, is there someone selling these pyramids pre-made?

Rob, nothing pre-made here. I cut each pyramid individually, buiscuited them and glued them together. I made a clamping board that kept everything square. I just ran them verticle on the table saw. The pyramids themselves are easy to make. The layout of the cabinet has to be exact, and that's the tough part. Thanks for the comment.
