Dan, beautiful work. Well designed too. One question though, in the top picture it looks like there's trim around the upper side units, and in the bottom picture it doesn't seem to be there. Did you decide it needed it between pictures, or am I making a mistake? anyway, great job with or without molding!!
It is true the picture at the bottom does not have trim at the base of the upper cabinets. This is a photo which I took at a show where we exhibited the display. The trim is not required but after the show and bringing back to install at our showroom, I decided to install trim to finish off that bottom edge. Also we have a similar trim that is attached to the top of the base cabinets.
