oak table I built for a photography shop. it is used for the ladies to sit at and touch up their makeup. construction of the legs and skirt is solid oak with a stain and precat lacquer the top is alder with a black pigmented lacquer

oh, that's nice. I love the skinny top. very clean and modern. Not a big fan of the oak grain. Maybe cherry or maple? Will the top stay flat over time?

thanks! I am not really a fan of oak either.. but thats what they wanted:) If I built it for myself I would go with cherry. the alder for the top was kilned and has been in the shop for over two years and has never warped so it should be fine. thanks for the comment. I am 19 and this was my second table, so it is nice to get some feedback.
