Red Oak Kitchen Counter Top

Just felled a 37" DBH red oak last November and had the top croutch of the tree cut into two 2" slabs. One was kiln dried and the other being air dried. Plan to make a kitchen counter top with the one kiln dried. So here's a pic of the dried oak.

Well these are two of my favorite things - wood and fast cars ( am looking at a '74 911 right now)
