Real nice Andrew...explain the finish if you will...

The finishing was subbed out and was the clients desire. I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to finishing my furniture so was somewhat hesitant when I found out what was actually going on it. But I must say I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the finished product. It is a bluish lacquer stain with a black glaze followed by a white glaze and then several coats of clear finish. It looks like an antique piece that was sort of stripped and has white and black remnants in all the nooks and crannies.

Well, being a finisher vs. cabinet maker,I'm impressed. The guy must have an artistic talent as opposed to painting talent. It fits in well with an aquatic setting.

Is that chatsworth Georgia? Great project!

Actually I am in Missouri. I named my company after Chatsworth ( the incredible stately home of the Duke of Devonshire) in Derbyshire England, a few miles from where i grew up.
Now you know the rest of the story!
