Thanks for the comment. When I designed this piece I liked the idea of a tree growing over a rock it something I have always been very fascinated with. Although it looks like it is turned in the pics its actually very random and the roots follow the contour of it and give the illusion that they are growing around it. But I see what you mean and I thought it looked very nice without it but it was very necessary for stability
Very nice. The rock ides is great. The rock having a contrasting color would have made it's purpose more obvious
