Quick question about your photos....Some of the pictures look a little distorted. Can you tell me what type of lens is on the camera. Im assuming its a wide angle fisheye .... hence the reason for the distortion.
Hey Jeff. Thank you. The lens is a Sigma Wide Angle 10mm-20mm (not fish-eye though).
Is that distortion Im seeing a result of the lens, or is it from editing software or something else? Dont know a lot about those super wide angle lens but am interested in buying one for my Canon.
Yes Jeff. The distortion is all in the lens. It's kind of a trade off. The wider you go, the more barrel distortion you get. Better lens quality helps a little but you have to spend the bucks. This one is a Sigma 10-20mm 1:4-5.6 EX DC HSM and runs just under $500. Definitly not the top of the line but does what I need it to do.
