Beautiful looking piece with lovely tone to the wood and tone. I understand it is a reproduction but the critic in me feels the exposed half blinds on the top should be on the sides and covered by the top edging detail. It competes too much with the lovely top and molding. But who am I. Well done!

Thanks for the comment. Some early chest of drawers were built this way with the exposed dovetails on top and applied molding. The only difference was full dovetails and I went with half blind. I think full dovetails would have competed less with the top.
