This is a headboard from a designer show house. 1/2 in MDF, full miter construction, painted white. It is hung on a french cleat.

Cool, & usefull. Did you recieve a design or did you design it? And all mitered? good saw work.
Nice work! I am glad I did not have to lift that into place!
Thanks, guys. It is built in four modular pieces, all hanging on the same cleat. Mark, I heard you sent this to Mica, that is a real compliment, You guys do great work.
One man's design is another man's ....
What methods did you use to join the mdf?
All the joints are mitered and glued then micro pinned. We then shoved glue into the cracks and pushed the miter together with a nail set. By sanding with the glue still wet over the joints it makes its own filler. It was a little time consuming but well worth it.
To each his own ... not 4 me
very nice, the bed is too small for the headboard which is not your fault. i saw that in better homes and garden magazine on their web site
Bugsy,
Where on BHG did you see it? Can you post a link?
