But.... you picture-framed around a panel glueup? Seasonal wood movement isn't going to do those mitered corners any favors...
Each joint is filleted, took longer but worth it, it's home is underfloor heated and it's been two and a half years there, it seems to have held up. Maybe time will prove me wrong
Another name for this type of desk is a "Lincoln desk". Made to stand at.
