This is a unusual job for us as we mainly do cabinet work but I like doing different things.
I was asked to make a room divider which separated an en-suite bathroom and bedroom brief was rustic looking wood one end glass door and glass " floating panel" how it was done and finish was up to me.
I used seasoned English oak beams with large dovetails for joints not only was this the best way for making the frame as there was no room to make it on the floor and stand it up but it also makes a feature of the joint itself. Then one end I made a lattice panel (which will match the wall paneling and bathroom cabinet which are in the shop.
On the other side of the lattice panel I made a feature panel using English pippy oak which is not fitted yet as there are some wires for a tv being put in the void between the panels. Hope you like it.
