very nice work, what kind of finish did you put on? How did you set the glass in? Did you use those glass stops, or did u cut a quarter inch rounded retainer? Always curious about the glass, I've tried several different methods now, still looking for more efficient ones.

awesome!!!!!

that closet will sell any house, any where.

how did you finish it?

I know everybody hates minwax stains , but this is the sedona red color , it took three coats to get the color my sister was looking for, then three coats of deft . The glass was installed with dabs of silicone and I used a molding to give it a more finished look

Minwax is good stuff, I wouldn't ever knock their stains. My only comment is to buy larger quantities, their smaller cans are almost always bad batches, atleast at home depot that is. Larger cans are always better IMO. Very impressive!

did you just wipe on 3 coats of the minwax or did you use a washcoat first. please let us know your finish procedure. thanks.

dan , I just wiped on three coats , the first coat I wiped on then let that dry, the same with the second and third coats, so I guess I built up the color this took forever, then after all was dry I sprayed three coats of laquer, sanding to 220 between coats the last coat got taken down to oooo# steel wool. I'm sorry I don't know all the terminolgy of finishing just a cabinet installer giving my sister a nice house warming gift.

Buy enough cans to do what you need and have some left over for touch up. Mix them all together first before you do anything, poor it back in the cans and you noww have the exact samething in every can.LOL
I have used Minwax for years on my hardwood floors. It's good to see that it can be used on something as nice as what you have done and it look so good to boot. Nice job.
