I was asked to build a floor model medicine cabinet with space in the bottom for towels and such. This is the design that I came up with. Hope you like it. Right now I am a part time woodworker with the hopes of being full time soon. All comments are welcome, if you see anything I should have done different please let me know.

Nicely done. I'd be proud to own one like it. Q: Whats the back and top made of? Looks like Laminate but wanted to check.
Yes the back and shelves are laminate. Thanks for looking.
No, but maybe the camera was not level. I am not a good photographer.
For a part timer, nice job. A few pointers; make your base higher - the face frames on the upper cabinet are too wide compared to the bottom. It makes the unit look top heavy. The bottom rail of lower cabinet isn't the same as the top rail. It loses its symmetry, which I have found is a major selling point. Architects/designers freak on that stuff. The hinges take away from the beauty of the walnut, maybe try a pin hinge. Move the knobs lower on the upper to the same location as the lower doors. You will have less fingerprints on your mirror. Just wondering why you would spend all that money on beautiful walnut and then put $50/sheet Home Depot laminate on it. You could have bought six granite or marble tiles for that. Build things as if you want them to last forever! Compliments on a nice job.
