The table's top and five pedestal bases are made from four American hardwoods; walnut, hickory, cherry and elm. The elm wood is from a tree harvested on the property.

The 5 pedestals decrease in diameter from 29" to 15".
The conference table seats 19. It''s over nineteen feet long and double tapers from 58" wide to 39" wide.

And BTW, there are 412 sticks in the tabletop and 378 sticks in the pedestal bases.
I really like this. Did you glue up the butt joints individually and then edge glue everything? I am just curious on your order of operations. I have never done a glue up like this where the boards didn't stretch the whole length. Well done.
Thanks Peter. I feel like I could write a book (a very boring one) about our order of operations. The first goal was to glue up panels 9" wide X 10' long and let them remain clamped to a 10' straight edge for 24 hrs. To answer your question, believe it or not, one guy glued the butt joints, another guy pressed and held the butt joint tightly closed, then another guy 18 ga. nailed the joint off to the long board behind it.
